Writing is a gift that is priceless when you are able to touch someone's life in a positive way. I write Poetry and I enjoy it because you analyze and portray words eloquently inorder to communicate a message. Poetry is beautiful and I remember as a kid learning lots of poems and being able to recite and dramatize them. Time does fly for sure....LOL.
I am a mother and I can relate with experiences of reading with kids. It is critical to start early and most importantly pick books that spark interest in young readers. I am a firm believer in reading and letting your child retell the story. This encourages retention and creativity in the eyes of the child. You will build self confidence in your child over time.
