Background Information

At least ten years ago I and five friends would get together and play a role playing game. We would take turns writing campaigns for each other to play in. At one point they asked me to write a campaign and I agreed if the rest of them also would write one and we would play all of them. Anyhow to get to the point we played all of their campaigns first and then we played mine. To my surprise they were fascinated with the storyline I had written and we played it for over 2 years the story playing out and evolving as we played. Then one of my best friends that played the game died of cancer and we stopped playing. The people that played didn’t want to return to the game because the man who died was an special and unique part of the story, so we never finished it. Soon after that the people I played with told me that I should put it into a book because they were all avid readers of fantasy and thought the story had merit. I have been a restaurant manager for many years and just never had much time to ever write it. I now find myself having all the time in the world to write it.
