I've been writing for as long as I can remember. I grew up reading romance novels and fell in love with each and every hero I read about. My favorite hero of all time is Matt Sterling from Rochelle Alers Hideaway series. Not sure about my favorite heroine, but I like spunky leading ladies. She may be a damsel in distress, but she's not waiting for the hero to come save the day. I'm a big fan of the musical RENT.
