Ms. Furedi was an English Major at Stony Brook University and CCNY at CUNY, with a concentration in Post World War II fiction. Her influences are F. Scott Fitzgerald, Truman Capote and poets Robert Frost, Wallace Stevens and e.e. cummings, among many others.   Ms. Furedi also has an art background and photography background. She graduated from the High School of Music & Art where she was an art major, and has also studied at tbe Arts Students League, in New York City.  

Member of ASCAP (American Society of Authors Composers and Publishers.) Her poetry has been set to Music and preformed at Carnegie Recital Hall. She is the winner of the David Markovitz Prize for Best Poet, at CCNY at CUNY. She has been published in two prior poetry anthologies, including CREVELATIONS and Who's Who In Poetry In American Colleges And Universities.
