I am the author of five novels: My Brother Eric, Maureen, Tenderfoot, McClellan's Bluff and Rosemount, and two memoirs--Tubob: Two Years in West Africa with the Peace Corps, and Sailing with Impunity: Adventure in the South Pacific.

Information
In my writing, I draw on personal experiences including purser and ship's diver aboard the tall ship, M.S. Explorer; Peace Corps in West Africa; a 13,000-mile South Pacific sailing cruise aboard our Bristol 40, Impunity, and extensive overland RV trips. I'm also active with the American Red Cross and have responded to several local and national disasters.
I have published three novels and two memoirs. I have also had published more than 400 magazine and newspaper articles. I also enjoy writing book reviews.
