Hi!  My name is Sue Hodkinson and I am the published author of  Blooming in the Desert.  I am the mother of (2) grown children, and the grandmother of 3.  I am currently in the work force part-time.  I have 2 long-range goals that I am always striving to achieve and they are:  "To become a good stewart of the Word of God, and an approved apprentice  of my writing."  As a writer, I would like to reach out to a wider audience of those who desire a more in-depth relationship with God.  As this year moves forward it is my utmost responsibility to come to a place of high service and commitment before God. I am currently residing in Cocoa, FL., and have been a resident of Florida for many years.  I graduated from high school and raised my family here. As a grandmother, I am in love with my grandchildren.  I have 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson and they are so incredibly unique in all their ways!  Grandmothers seem to understand when all else fails!  I love the feeling that brings and I am very considerate of that space with them! What do authors give?  We give the gift of writing.  We can take the reader on a journey of adventure and mystery, or provide a treasure chest of great articles and good life lessons.  These creative and artistic words can bring solutions to difficult and challenging journeys.  Often, the most desperate times are used as a teaching tool by God.  I am happy to share Blooming in the Desert with the world.  It is a book of inspiration and will challenge the reader to take another stepin their relationship with God.
