Information
My employment history was based in healthcare for many years. My focus was in Geriatrics as a Therapeutic Recreation Coordinator. It was in this capacity that I learned firsthand the devastation Alzheimers Disease wreaks on its victims and their family.
I have since retired from healthcare, but the people lost to this heartbreaking disease have never left my heart. It was their courage that inspred me to write "Stolen Memories"
As an author I feel it is not only important to write an engaging story, but it is equally important to offer a message. That is why my stories tend to deal with a real issue. For example, my current work in progress deals with the very serious issue of domestic abuse.
I hope to continue to write and have the opportunity to share my words formany years to come. And I would like to invite you to share the journey.
