Motivational speaker, Author of the book "Everything You Were Meant to be Through Adversity, and entrepreneur. Stephanie Culverson-Woods was born in the small, Midwestern town of Peoria, Illinois. She relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada with her family and built a life for herself in the desert.  Now, happily married with grown children, Woods dedicates her time to the service of others through volunteer work with the Women’s Resource Center, has mentored a group called GT's and presently volunteers at the Juvenile Courts through a program called Sister to Sister. Woods’ passion is encouraging people from all walks of life to be their best, especially women. With her warm sense of humor, she becomes very transparent when speaking, divulging her inner self. She encourages others to deliver their dreams and visions, not to abort them before they become viable. Tackling difficult issues through motivational speaking and mentoring, Woods’ carefully illustrates how to hold on to one’s aspirations through personal stories of overcoming adversity and perseverance against the odds. She knows and understands the many challenges that women face in today’s society, having faced many of them personally, and has been transformed from victim to victor.
