I have gotten my inspiration from trying to learn something new every day- being better and more alive each moment.  My first poetry book "Weapon of Choice"  is my weapon of choice. Inspiration is valuable if we know how to recognize and use it. Usually, we get inspiration and learn more from life from the lessons that are embedded in our daily experiences. I felt I had the responsability to inspire and touch people through poetry, thus I penned "Weapon of Choice". My goal in writting "Weapon of Choice" is to touch people in such a way that the experience is more real than surreal. I want individuals to feel empowered by the written word. I believe that poetry has the potential to be far more than a few required readings. In this technological age were most things come at the push of a button, the human family needs, at times, to be reminded that it is human beyond all else, and poetry can be that vehicle. "Weapon of Choice" deals with subject matters that can impact a wide array of backgrounds -funny, sad,  romantic, hurt,  happy, political but mostly it is human. The words are arranged in such a manner that anyone can find themselves in one or more stanzas.
