Information
Cedric L. Jones was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1973. At age seven, his family moved to Bennettsville, S.C. where he spent the remainder of his childhood. In high school, he was chosen to attend The Young Writer's Conference in Columbia, S.C. for a poem he'd written inspired by The Gulf War Crisis.
He is the author of two poetry collections I Wear the Colour Grreen (2008) and We Whisper: and Other Poems (2014).
Jones currently resides in New York City, where he is active in the independent theatre community and continues to write both plays and poetry.
