I come from a strong communication and writing background, going back to when I was in charge of Internal Communications for a major aerospace corporation. Separately I wrote many articles as a feature writer for San Diego Magazine, with focus on business, community issues and lifestyles. I've traveled much of the world, often keeping a journal and leading to my on the road book during a tumultuous year (1968). I've always enjoyed nature, hiked many of the trails in my outdoors, and been a strong environmental advocate. For years I was the Outdoors Editor of San Diego Magazine's online publication, resulting in my Outdoors San Diego book. I enjoy writing humor and poetry, with poems appearing in many anthologies and our children's illustrated book about Santa's curious elves.
