About Rebecca  I grew up in the suburbs of San Francisco and have always called the Bay Area home. Along with my husband, we have three adult children.   At the age of twelve, I was searching for something creative to do during summer vacation. Quite frankly, I was tired of sewing Barbie clothes. A friend and I decided to collaborate on a story. To this day I still cherish that summer memory.   This latest story came to fruition while I was waiting to pick my daughter up from school. It was a pleasant way for me to pass the time every afternoon while sitting in my car. Each day over that school year, the story developed and took me on a journey.   Over the years, I have penned several poems for children. Each poem is accompanied by several interesting activities, which helps guide a parent while they introduce literature to their child. Through different mediums such as art, oral communication, and music, your child can experience these poems.   I am currently working on my second novel.   

My greatest achievement was raising my children. That is the hardest and most rewarding job I have ever had the pleasure of doing. Second, would be the publication of my first novel.
