Morning Coffee by Elizabeth Alan is the current favorite - lol. I love Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. Do I need to specify whether I'm the male or female part here? I don't think so. Favorite current authors would have to include John Grisham, Janet (no one else can make me laugh out loud quite as often as I sit alone), Nora Roberts, and Patricia Cornwell (please bring back the Kay Scarpetta of old) just to name a few.
