Michelle Mantooth Poston has B.A. Interior Design from The Art Institute of Houston. Born in Las Vegas, NV in 1962, she was raised with her three siblings all over the United States. Currently she resides with her fiancé in Germany, just outside of Munich. Her life has been mainly devoted to Writing, creating Art and raising three creative, productive, and successful children.  Strongly influenced by a colorful, painful and tumultuous childhood she writes to process, share and resolve, but most importantly to inspire. For the last twenty years, she has worked with children as Writing and Art Instructor at Doughtery Art School in Austin, TX and Lago Vista Performing Arts School in Lago Vista, TX. She is an accomplished painter and sculptor, selling her work in Austin,TX. As well as conducting her own contract Art Classes for adults. She is writing her first novel "The Daughter Cell" Projected publication Nov. 2009
