Dayvid's journey is taking him many places. It influences who he is and how he writes. He's been writing poetry for over 30 years, sometimes more frequently than other times. Some of his influences are... Gene Clark Bob Dylan Leonard Cohen Mary Gauthier Adam Duritz Ray Wylie Hubbard Sheryl Crow Dayvid has been an "academic" much of his life. He says, "I'm spending too much time in my head. I'm now trying to live life with my heart. It is with our hearts that we will find peace and transform our world of fear and war to one of love and harmony" Dayvid has 3 wonderful grown daughters who add excitment and joy to life. He is married to beautiful, intellegent, compassionate Gwen, who loves him as she hoola-hoops through life. Currently Dayvid and Gwen enjoy living in a mid-modern house, built in the mid-50s of the previous century, in Denver, Colorado.  In real life, Dayvid is a Mennonite Pastor struggling with a love-hate relationship with the church. He has become much more intent upon his spirituality and seeks new ways of being. As an Associate Professor of Psychology at a local college, Dayvid enjoys hanging out with his students who inspire him, fueling his passion for life. For hobbies, he rides both bicycles and motorcycles. Collected British motorcycles for 30 years. Ranting against the status quo is a special gift he has :)
