I never wrote a word until I became a fan of "Beauty and the Beast". Like so many others, I found a television series changing my life and making me reach deep within myself for talents I didn't know I had. Though I'm no longer writing fan fiction, Vincent and the other characters of this marvelous story will always be an inspiration to me. Through this fandom, I was fortunate enough to meet my friend, mentor and editor, Nancy Dibble, who is also a fan. Nan is better known in writing circles as her pen name, Ansen Dibell, the author of "Plot", a marvelous book for writers published by Writers' Digest. For eleven years, now, Nan has edited and "coached" me in the craft of writing, and I will forever be grateful for her intelligence, humor and expertise, for she can do more with the written word than anyone else I know.

I've written ten full-length novels of fan-fiction on the tv series "Beauty and the Beast", winning "Best Foreign Publication" for one of my novels at an English convention. Along with Sandra McLaren, I've also written "Kahramaan", a contemporary romance novel. I've taught creative writing classes for our local adult community education.
