Being the youngest of seven children in a working class family, and losing my mother to a tragic accident two weeks after I began first grade was my first memorable experience with the harsh reality of life. After that traumatic event, I was able to observe the true meaning of strength, loyalty, tenacity, drive, and love, as I observed my father single handedly nurture, protect, and provide for our family. I watched as my siblings earned advanced degrees,  entered the workforce, and started families. This backdrop provided me a front row seat in the theater of life. I married in my early twenties, and entered the mainstream through the portal of law enforcement, where I spent seven years before migrating to the private sector, and the world of management in corporate security. My wife, daughter, son and two grandchildren, one from each child, are the core of my life. All other priorities pale in comparison.
