The love of my dog Tazzie, who died in 2011 at the age of 15+, inspired me to donate all profits from my book to animal rescue. Paulette Mahurin holds a Masters Degree in Nursing from UCLA (Nurse Practitioner Program). She is an award winning author of several short stories and is published in two books. She was ranked Amazon #3 best seller in the kindle store for her book, The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap, October, 2012. She has won multiple awards in college for help with multiculture groups and scholastic achievements.
