Hi, so glad you clicked on this page to learn more about me!  I live in Houston with my husband of 30+ years. We never had kids, but there is always an ever-changing assortment of animals at our house. I have a tendency to rescue strays and rejects, so at any given time you may find me the proud mama of an iguana, a bunny, and/or a puppy. And cats, always cats, since they seem to be the hardest to find homes for.  I don't pretend to be a theologian - I have no degree in Biblical studies, I'm not fluent in ancient Hebrew, I'm not even exactly sure what a linen ephod looks like. I'm just your average nobody, trying to serve Christ, and messing up along the way more times than I want to think about. But I'm passionate about God's Word, and hopefully I'm growing more like Him as I study it.  Another of my passions is fitness. I'm a personal trainer and kickboxing instructor, and a weekend adventurer.  Sitting still long enough to write is always a major achievement for me. But my first book,Like A Flood wouldn't let go of me until I got the whole story out. I fell in love with the characters, and the story gripped my heart in unexpected ways. For months, I lived and breathed the adventure in Colombia along with the missionaries, and writing it has changed the way I look at the world around me.  I hope that it, and the rest of the series, touches readers the same way.
