Sharon Rose Mierke and her husband, Al, (now retired) live in the home that they designed and built over thirty years ago in a small community in Manitoba, Canada. They have four children and four grandchildren. Sharon squeezes in writing time between volunteering, scrapbooking, and grandchildren’s visits. Every winter, they pack up the car and head south to Galveston Island, Texas. Through the years, she’s had several short stories and children’s stories published. One of her joys is writing cozy mysteries involving her two favorite characters, Mabel Wickles and Flori Flanders. Her first Parson’s Cove Cozy Mystery was Slip and Go Die. Perplexity on P ½ followed and then, Calamity @ the Carwash. Save as Murder is now in print, the fourth in the series.She writes her mysteries under the name Sharon Rose. Sarah's Valley is her first Historical Fiction novel.
