Damien's diminished ego has made it exceedingly awkward for him to refer to himself in the third person.  Because of this he has abandoned his dreams of a political or athletic career and has instead pursued the diversions of anonymous social commentary and bad poetry on the internet.    What he hopes to achieve is anyone's guess, but he seems dreadfully sincere, being the hemorrhaging heart that he is.  He has confided to those close to him that though he lacks what may be called "heroes", he has a profound admiration for anyone great or small that has poured their heart, soul, and all too often their blood into the causes of justice and human evolution.  In his most naive moments he has expressed the hope that someday humanity will cease murdering those who want nothing but for them to be happy.   When pressed to express his guiding principles he says he has but one rule...  and it is golden.  It is common that after declaring this he will go on to say that ever since this rule was first intimated many thousands of years ago it has been a bafflingly long waiting game for just this simple concept to sink in, and then he invariably trails off, staring into the distance.   "I pity the fool."  --  Mr. T
