I have been writing since I was really little-around five years old. My grandfather, Philip Birmingham (a fellow author in the den) was my greatest influence. He "published" a story I wrote called, The Little Kitten. It wasn't all that good, but over time I became my own tutor and developed my own style. The first work I wrote, that I am still pretty proud and fond of is an Eighth-grade research paper about pirates. I added my own creative twist to the paper by incorporating a story into it. I was docked points for my creativeness. Now, though, parts of that paper are being used as examples and templates for that class. I plan on continuing my writing and developing my skills. I love getting lost in what I am writing. If I don’t become completely consumed by the work, I know most others won’t, so I try to go back and find where the mess up is. I am actually helping an already published author to edit two more of his books.

Well, I got up this morning.
I have found love or it found me, I'm not sure.
I just realized that I am an individual (Always thought I was but now I know).
Published in a journal...not Me, but my works, mind you. I'd imagine being published would hurt...
Finaly took my own advice and decided to be a little less serious. Thought I'd laugh a little louder and cry a little more.
Use of works as templates and examples (of how not to write possibly...?)
Asked for editing advice by a published author.
I was the only girl to make it into the "Monkey Club" in gym. I climbed all the way to the top of the climbing rope, upside down!
I finally learned how to snap my fingers on 8/16/07. My mommy was quite proud.
AND...
I caught me a baby bumble bee!!
