Dennis Cone is five generations from Orlando. In 1982 Dennis quit an $80,000/yr sales profession to be President of the Non-Profit Jr. Golf Association of Central Florida as a volunteer. His brother had just committed suicide after serving 26 over two years in Viet Nam and he wanted to be home and a good father unlike what he was delivered. He left that position after establishing the first Jr. Golf endowment scholarship program with PGA TOUR player Donnie Hammond in 1989 and they raised over $20,000 to start the fund. In 1992 Donnie and Dennis started the Evergreen Youth Foundation dba PCA Worldwide Foundation to go worldwide (www.PCAworldwide.org) Four of the "kids” from JGA of Central Florida are playing on the PGA TOUR including Chris DiMarco. He has sold almost everything and money has not been his motivation but to help teach kids LIFE SKILLS & SOCIAL skills through sports and the game of golf. He has always been very active with his kids because he did not have the dad most of us had to support his sports efforts. The POSTIVE relationship with GOD, Orlando Park & Recreation run by Mr. Gould & the Boys & Girl Club helped focus his life......... The PCA Worldwide Caddie Association ( THE ONLY WORLD CADDIE HEAQUARTERS-PCA ) now has over 10,000 members worldwide. The PCA has recently merged with Pete Blay of the old Nick Faldo marketing team in London.
