Glenn is an avid admirer of the prize-winning contemporary Australian poet, Bruce Dawe, and gains inspiration from the English classics of Byron, Keats and Shelly. He has undergone a personal study of Australian artist Norman Lindsay, which has led him to the works of the famed 17th century English diarist, Samuel Pepys. As a strange twist of fate, Glenn notes, "Normal Lindsay discussed the all importance, in his mind, of self revelation and self-honesty in the acceptance of his public art, which was highly controversial for his time. He used Pepys as a barometer of courage in self revelation, and was inspired, as I am, by the frankness of his diaries." With an infectious enthusiasm for life and multi-faceted communicational ability, Glenn has been gifted with intuitive emotional insight and has transcended personal trials with inspirational vigour and remarkable success. A fixed wing private pilot, writer, photographer and musician, he has performed at venues such as the Sydney's Opera House and Town Hall. In the 1980s, Glenn built a reputation as a sought after Cabaret entertainer and singer, performing in venues along Australia's east coast, while appearing on television as a featured artist. He has pursued his passions for music, flying and advocacy for marginalised and vulnerable groups. In particular, he has been a highly engaged and active advocate for women's human rights as a Women's Rights Ambassador in Australia.  Glenn has had poetry published and featured as a speaker on topics including personal and social leadership, coaching, role-modelling, military history and his own, ecclectic, energetic life experiences. He was a comedy-contributer to the highly successful Hamish and Andy radio program and has gone back to his musical roots by writing and producing his own music. He has lived a life full of trial, tradgedy and tribulation and continues to bring it to life in his highly entertaining, lucid and enlightened writing style.
