"The words came quickly. Without premonition. Without cognition. At one moment, his thoughts were quiet and reflective, and now, a torrent of thought from virtually nowhere. His mind became awash with words, like a scrolling, electronic billboard across his mind’s eye. The words however, were not like written text, but feelings enmeshed with ideas, which provided a vivid thought narrative. Those thoughts came upon his mind exactly like a dream, deep and illuminated with colour; deep stirrings of feelings that evoked unbridled emotion.
But whilst he sat, driving in his car along a busy suburban main road, the tears cascading like an unstoppable stream down his flushed cheeks, his transfixed emotional state blinded his practical reality. The car hit the median strip, forcibly lunging the steering wheel from his hands. Uncontrolled, he swerved instantly into the travel of a provisional driver speeding excessively with youthful verve up the left lane..."
