A native Chicagoan, for the past twenty five years ,Isharra had come to call Silver Spring, Maryland her home but recently moved to Chambersburg, PA to be close to her grandchildren.
A single parent of three now adult children and Grandmom to four, Isharra now has the time to do what she always knew was her destiny...to write. Her major influences for her first book a collection of short stories, was undoubtly J. California Cooper and O. Henry.
