I decided to write this book because I am always looking for things to do in the area.  My husband and I like to go out on date nights and our boys are always up for an adventure.  We also have people of all ages and interests who come to visit and we like to show them around.  I have found it time consuming to collect tourist information because this large area is located over two states; each having multiple towns and cities.  I have spent many hours on the internet, at the GA and SC welcome centers, contacting convention and visitors bureaus and looking through phone directories to compile all the information found in this book.  One day, I looked at the box of information that I had collected and thought I would have loved for someone to have given me all this tourist information in one book.  So here’s my attempt of doing that for you, I hope that it saves you time!  Most of the places in this book I have been to, no one has paid to be included in this book,  and I just included what I thought might interest people.
