The book "Not in Vain" was a God-driven force that came to me to tell the story about the aftermath of our daughter's murder from a domestic violent relationship.  I never thought I would ever be an author.  Many nights I would wake up and not be able to go back to sleep.  The name Not in Vain kept coming to my mind.   I finally would go to the computer saying "Dear God, I am not an author, why are you doing this?"  As I started typing, thoughts just came to me, at times I could not type fast enough to keep up with these thoughts and memories.  Then I would cry so hard that I could not even see the keyboard.  I would still be typing when the sun came up without realizing it.  With many twists and turns that happened in my life, it ended up taking me four years to complete this book.  I was also given the idea for the cover, now I just had to get it published.  Thank you God for persistence!  Now we just need to reach other victims to show them what could happen to the loved ones they leave behind by staying in an abusive relationship.  I found out the hard way what criminal justice means, it is for the criminals, now I am going to work on getting justice for victims.  With the help of God, I will figure out a way.
