Lakeisha is an author, social worker, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and minister. Lakeisha knows what it takes to rise from victim to victor, overcoming childhood sexual abuse to being a home owner and founder of two businesses (Kingdom Expansion Enterprises Inc and Today’s Power4Life LLC) before age 30. She has appeared in major newspapers and radio talk shows throughout the country (i.e. Herald Newspaper, The Current Radio, and many more).
Lakeisha has excelled in every area of life, including her academic and professional life. Lakeisha graduated as valedictorian of her high school class and was named Who’s Who among high school students in 1999. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees: one in Political Science and the other in Psychology. Lakeisha received over 40 awards and recognitions (including a 1999 presidential citation) for her academic achievement and community service involvement. She graduated from Norfolk State University May 2009 with a Master’s in Social Work and is currently a Doctor of Strategic Leadership candidate at Regent University.
She is the author of the new book entitled GOALS: Guidelines on Achieving Life Success, impacting the lives of people of all ages and cultural backgrounds who desire to set and achieve health, social, personal, educational, and professionals goals. She has been honored with Lifetime membership for Cambridge’s Who’s who among Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs, and membership with the National Association of Professional Women. Lakeisha was ordained and licensed as a minister of the Gospel in 2003. She soon received a vision for ministry, which includes winning souls for the kingdom, aiding in the restoration of the total man (spirit, soul and body), and developing leaders throughout the world.
Lakeisha desires to encourage those who are experiencing hard times to overcome their problems, keep their eyes on their goals, and become the leaders they were predestined to be. Her life story proves that your past does not dictate your future. Your age, race, past mistakes also does not determine your destiny. Your faith and perseverance does. Everyone has a life purpose. It is up to you to learn it, live it, and love it!
