Background
Information
Ever since I was a child, writing poetry has always been a way of listening to a deeper voice within myself, or beyond myself. It is a way to find truth, to move forward, and to rediscover myself again and again. In the past seven years of my life, I have embarked on the most challening and profound journey of my lifetime, that of being a mother. In these days of euphoria and exhaustion, the poems do not come as easy, or as often, as they used to. But in these days, I know that I must listen to that voice within more than ever before. It is for this reason, in a hope to spark that flame that once burned brightly, that I have chosen to share my poems, past and present, with others. I hope you enjoy.
