Ever since I was a child, writing poetry has always been a way of listening to a deeper voice within myself, or beyond myself. It is a way to find truth, to move forward, and to rediscover myself again and again. In the past seven years of my life, I have embarked on the most challening and profound journey of my lifetime, that of being a mother.
