In times when our economic environment is unstable, we need to ensure our children will have the substantial tools available to them to succeed in real life. I am the mother of three sone who are grown adults now. They were the influence in me to write Graduating inot Reality. As they grew they asked questions such as; How do I go about starting a checking account?, Where can I get furnishings cheaply?, What is a FICO score? These questions made me stop and think. Sometimes schools and even parents forget that we need to teach things other than reading, writing and arithematic to assist children in everyday life. This is the reason I wrote her book, Graduating into Reality. I began it as a guidance book for children 13 and up, but realized there are many adults who need the same help due to many situations put in front of them. Graduating into Reality is written in simple language and is meant to used as a guide.
