I have been writing poetry throughout my life, starting from the time I was old enough to write and rhyme.  My poems have been inspired by many different situations and times in my life, from times of struggle and hurt, to moments of overwhelming appreciation for life, and the people God has put in my path.       Writing for me has been therapeutic and liberating at times, revealing emotions that I would never express outside of a poem. Perhaps others will relate as they get a glimpse of me through my writings.      It is an honor to be able to share this part of me, and thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my poetry.
