In 1999 All India Freelance Journalists Association, Chennai, awarded him National Award in the field of Freelance Journalism. Also, he is one of the winners in an Essay contest, conducted by Kerala Islamic Association, Sur (Oman) Unit. The Home of Letters (India), Bhhubaneswar, Orissa; conferred up on him "Creative Giant 2007" Award. Embassy of India, Muscat, appointed as "Honarary Consular Agent".
