My pen name is Sha Yan. I have published three titles, Yuan's Place, Imminent Ferns and most recently, China Tower and a Chinese taditional poetry collection, Qing Liu Book. I also published some poetry works in soem American Anthologies such as "Eternal Portraits". These publications have helped me becoming a better person. I enjoy the time when I read and write and obviously they are very helpf

Information
I have an education background in Science, specifically Physics and EE. I learned literature back in college and I loved readings. And I extended my reading experience into my writings and as a result, I found it very successful, so I started to write more, both in Chinese and in English. And I have had four titles in English and Chinese published so far. These writings of mine have helped me both financially and for me becoming a better person.
I tried to express myself in my short story and poetry as spiritual living. Also I wrote a lot about God, as how God is important in my life. My short stories appeal meanings such as life and struggle, faith and sin as well as desire as some certain thresholds. I try to make myslef clear in a couple of short sentences without overdragging with long sentences and I try not to be wordy unless neccessary. I think to be dragging or to use long and dull long words are not the essential elements in classical fiction. But I do excercise myself with the language part in my poetry works. Overall what I try to accomplish are the books, yes, they are books!!!!
