If ever there was a time for a Children's Ministry

Background
Information
As a child I grew up in a little house, with six siblings, my parents, my grandfather and one bathroom. My mom took us children to the library weekly and I loved it. Reading was my escape from my noisy, chaotic household. I could fantisize about being on my own, going on an exciting adventure or solving a mystery. My love of books has always remained with me. I made up books as a child and wrote poetry as a young adult. When I became a mom I began reading books to my sons, and for fun we would creat our own story books; just like when I was a child. This fun project turned into a passion for me as I began my journey as a children's book author/illustrator. A major influence in my life was my dad who always told me that I could grow up to be what ever I wanted to be. I was a girl, yet very much a tom-boy who wasn't afraid to go for my dreams. As a child, I loved Dr Seuss, Beatrix Potter, Alice in wonderland and of course, Walt Disney. As an adult, I love how to books, biographies and a good mystery.
Accomplishments
Published book titled "A Nightcrawler's Nightmare."
Soon to be published book titled "Cozy Kitty."
Diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature.
