Edworm longs to be more than a worm, but what can he do with no arms, legs, or wings. He soon finds himself unexpectedly flicked out of the earth into the outside world where he meets creatures who are either friendly, or hungry for tastey worms. His adventure turns into a nightmare as he realizes there is no place like home.
This story is both humorous and suspensful as it keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next.

I have gotten lots of great feedback from children whom this book has been read to. Many grandparents have stopped in my work to tell me how their grandchildren want them to read this book over and over to them. Some children have also stopped by my work to tell me how much they love Edworm:)
A great project to go along with reading this book is making dirt cup cakes. You need chocolate cupcakes, chocolate frosting, crushed chocolate cookies ( for the dirt) and gummy worms. They are fun for little children to make and delicious to eat!

Deep inside the earth in the soil so firm, lived an energetic nightcrawler named Edworm. He would tunnel to the left and tunnel to the right, burrowing endless passageways all through the night.
Finally, Edworm stopped and let out a giant burp. Edworm shouted out, "I'm sick of eating gritty dirt! Just once I'd like to run, jump, fly and swim but I'm only a worm with no legs, wings or fins."

This is a wonderful story of Edworm's adventure into the world! It's a great story to read to your children and discuss the beautiful illustrations with them. It's also a great story for young readers to enjoy and share with their friends. The story is very well written and the illustrations are eye catching and brightly colored.

This was a fantastic find! My son just loves creepy crawley things, so what better than a book about a worm! With all the beautiful illustrations of other animals my son fell in love with this book right away! We've already read it a million times!! He can't wait to see what Edworm does in his next adventure! And by the way (if you've read the book you'll understand) My son now wants purple sunglasses!
This book has a great adventure in it. I would highly recommed this book to anyone who has kids that like animals.
