I always knew I wanted to be a writer.  I knew I could write, but I didn't know what to do with what I wrote.  I thought that dream was unattainable for the average person.  So I didn't pursue my dream, even though it was always there.  I went to college and armed with a degree in psychology, all that got me was deeper in debt!  But now I realize, it gave me a start to any of the research I need to do for the stories I have stored in my head, and the ones I haven't even thought of yet.  That is also what my many different jobs have given me as well. My first job, while I was in high school, was as a Radio DJ!  That Rocked!  I have also been a business owner and manager, a real estate agent, a victim advocate for a domestic violence and sexual assault agency, floral designer and jewelry sales associate just to name a few. Sort of a Jill of all trades, master of none.  I am an avid reader, and some of my favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, Debbie Macomber, Claire Cook, Janet Evanovich - and Somerset Maugham. I have two grown sons, Anthony, 23 and Donovan, 25, from my first marriage.  I am married to a wonderful man, Dean, and we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary last June.  We recently moved to Florida from Washington State, and enjoyed the winter without snow and cold!  Although we had a very cold week in January.  I am looking forward to my first novel being published in the upcoming months!  The Next Chapter will be published in March or April!!!
