I began writing novels after spending a lifetime as a minister of the Gospel and pastor of churches from Canada to Texas. My characters grow out of my background and experiences. To date my three novels are sequential, set in southern Minnesota during the 1930s during the time of the Great Depression.  I also blog regularly and love to keep in touch with friends around the world on Facebook and Twitter.  My wife and I are the parents of three and the grandparents of six wonderful grandchildren. We reside in Texas, have a second home in Colorado and love to travel.

Freya's Child, my third novel, placed third in competition with mainstream/mystery novels at the 2008 Oklahoma Writers Federation Conference.
