Information
Growing up in a small central Texas town I spent the majority of my time reading books and watching sheep, I loved the way books could transport me from my hot front porch to anywhere in the world. As an adult I decided to write a book to allow other people the opportunity to visit places beyond their own front porches. That book, Reading 10,000 Books: A Journey of Body and Soul is now available for your reading pleasure. My two other books are Implications for Peace: Montessori Elementary Education, and a fiction book, Peaceful Farm Montessori School.
Books and Authors I have loved include: The Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L'Engle, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, Peace Pilgrim, by the Friends of Peace Pilgrim, and numerous books by Richard Bach, Alice Hoffman, and Lois Lowry.
