I live with my husband, four sons, and ten dogs (they keep wandering in) in a small town in Tennessee. I am a huge horror fan, and love anything scary or just plain spooky. Supernatural, Ghost Adventures, and The Walking Dead are three of my favorite programs, if that gives you an idea. However, I am also a hopeless romantic. I started writing rather late in life out of sheer necessity. I just couldn't find anything that was dark and gripping, yet with a compelling and lusty romantic theme driving it forward. Sweet and innocent feel-good romance is not for me. Neither is tasteless smut. Office romances...boring. I need captivating, edge-of-your-seat, hold-on-to-your-hat adventure mixed with steamy, make-me-blush, need-a-cold-shower romance. Throw in elements of fantasy or the paranormal and you've got my attention. For that reason, I wrote and self-published two full-length novels, Book I and II of The Atriian Trilogy, and am currently working on Book III. If romance is not your thing, I've also published a collection of short-stories entitled Thing Bailiwick; A Collection of Horror. My primary influences include Stephen King, Richard Adams, and Walt Disney (Beauty and the Beast was my first paranormal romance). I enjoy singing, reading, writing, bulb planting(obsession!!!), Japanese gardening, eating all the wrong things, and taking long walks through the beautiful hills of Tennessee. I would love to be able to open an animal shelter. This is desperately needed here where I live. There is a heartwrenching epidemic of strays in need of help, and no spay and neuter laws. I have the land (100 acres), the desire, the compassion. I just need a partner with the bank account!!!!
