Having spent 30 years as an animation director, much of this time working for BBC and Channel 4 Schools Television, Hedley now self-publishes his own children's books on child safety, DangerSpot Books.

Having made films about children's picture books Hedley followed his long awaited passion of publishing his own series. Having written for BBC Storytime he has also had books published by Lutterworth Press and TopThat.
