Retired teacher. Married to a retired teacher. Enjoying the freedom of retirement.

Background Information

I have always enjoyed observing animals.  While teaching 2nd Grade in 1965 my room was considered the zoo by the kindergarten.  My students played with the snakes and tarrantulas after their work was completed. (Sometimes to the horror of the mothers who came to the school.)  I write about  animals and animal life.  Although my narrator might be the animal, I interject their  thoughts.  Reading is "Art for the Imagination" and is the only place where animals can talk to the reader.  Be they a bird, a bob cat or a dragon, it is in a book that adventures begin and possible endings.
