My background is quite varied. I started as a dancer and then added acting and singing for musical theatre. I've been a dance instructor for children for many years. When living in LA, I was a singer/songwriter in our rock band. I started writing in college, mostly poems and later songs. My children's story evolved over time and took on a life of its own. Now I've been working on the sequel and the adventures and learning experiences the characters will be sharing as time goes on. I love to read, but subjects quite different from what I actually write about. I love the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, The Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin, and Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Some other authors I enjoy are: Charlaine Harris, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, Sherrilyn Kenyon, J.R. Ward and Jim Butcher. Some other favorites are Colleen McCullough's, Great Men of Rome series and Zecharia Sitchen's Earth Chronicles. So basically books that are in the paranormal, historical fiction, or sci-fi realm.
