Jason Beil grew up near Harrisburg, PA under the influence of dangerous things like comic books, Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy novels, rock music, and Star Wars movies.  At the age of twelve he read The Lord of the Rings, which became his favorite book and a major influence on his thinking and future writing. While always interested in writing, Beil became more involved in music as he grew older, culminating with a degree in music from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.  He had a brief acting career, and then returned to his first love, writing. Now Beil is a professional musician and a part-time writer who has self-published two books.  His first book gained the interest of Austrian publishing company Otherworld Verlag, and has been translated into German and published in two volumes. Beil has always written for his own enjoyment and his passion for the English language and the written word.  A lover of all things fantastic, he feels most comfortable working in the Fantasy genre, whether it be epic fantasy, modern horror, or character-driven stories with a supernatural twist. Today, Beil divides his time between his young daughter, his musical career, and his passion for reading and writing.  He doesn't have so much time for Dungeons and Dragons, but he still visits the comic store every Wednesday and occasionally watches Star Wars.

Self-published two novels, The Talisman of Faerie and The Sword of Kings. A German language version of the first book is available in two volumes, titled Flucht nach Faerie and Verrat in Faerie.
