Lots of past-life experience. Former teacher, public relations, marketing, political consultant, media specialist, columnist.    Current life is the best. Retired and able to spend as much time writing as I choose.    Live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC where I love to hike, snowshoe and play my bluegrass banjo.    Past president of High Country Writers, a fantastic group of 70+ writers from the NC High Country (NW region of the mountains) who encourage each other's literary endeavors. My book, Real Country: From the Fast Track to Appalachia, written as Leslie Brunetsky, won the Humor Book of the Year Award from High Country Writers for 2009.Family Secrets: Three Generations was named YA Novel of the Year 2011 and made the quarterfinals of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Competition.
