D.J. Triplett is a communications major at Sacramento State University and has written many articles and short stories that have been published world-wide. She has the unique writing ability that creates realistic scenes that makes the reader part of the story.
Background
Information
D.J. has owned and published three community newspapers and honed her writing skills as a journalist and novelist. Her interest in writing began with articles concerning topics important in the world today, and she was soon asked to write biographies for artists in the music industry, discovered that she had a flair for writing lyrics, and then began writing poetry.
Accomplishments
Ms. Triplett has received an award from the Pulitzer Center in 2008 for her piece on "What responsibility does the United States have towards the Vietnamese people whom have suffered illnesses as a result of their exposure to the dioxin Agent Orange?"
