MARK BANNERMAN (Pen-name of Anthony Lewing)
I was educated at KCS Wimbledon and spent 35 years in the Army. On retirement I settled into writing full time. Under my pen-name MARK BANNERMAN I have now had over thirty novels of the Old West published by Robert Hale and Ulverscroft. I have had my saga THE CORNISH WOMAN published by Ulverscroft. My books are also available as ebooks on Amazon Kindle and other ebook distributors. I have had hundreds of short stories published in newspapers, magazines, children's annuals etc.
I have travelled the Old West and visited Indian battlefields, old forts, the graves of legendary characters, ranches - and enjoyed the wide open scenery. I have tried to make reseach the key to my work and have accumulated an extensive library of reference books.
I now live in Hampshire, England with my French-born wife Françoise. We have two grown-up children.
