I was born into an army family and spent my childhood moving around the UK and abroad. Unsurprisingly it gave me itchy feet and in my twenties I escaped from an unloved secretarial career to work as cabin crew and see the world. The arrival of marriage, children and cats meant a more settled life in the south of England, where I've lived ever since. It also gave me the opportunity to go back to 'school' and eventually teach at university. I've always loved the nineteenth century and grew up reading Georgette Heyer, so when I plucked up the courage to begin writing myself, my first novel had to be a Regency romance. Reprobate Lord, Runaway Lady was published in January, 2011 and I've published two more Regencies since then with a fourth in the pipeline. Recently I've moved away from pure romance and am now writing historical mystery.  Walking Through Glass is a Victorian time slip mystery romance and is published on Amazon kindle
