I am a graduate of San Diego State University in English and public speaking and drama. The poets I like best are Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, The English Romantic Poets, and Robert Frost. I also admire Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, The Bronte`s, Emerson, Thoreau, and Helen Steiner Rice. I am also an artist who paints pictures of childhood visits to Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana and Georgia.

I've been published in several hard copy poetry books, local news
papers, and a local college poetry collection. I won an award for
best short story at a local college. I am on the internet as part of a
drama script for children.
